
Gianluca Evels
Architect, he lives in Rome and works in Pesaro. In 2003 he founded the b4architects group winning several national and international competitions exposing projects in different cities in Europe, North and South America. In 2008 he took part in the 11th Venice Biennial with the Nemesi Studio. From 2002 to 2008 he carried out university teaching at the ‘La Sapienza’ Faculty of Architecture in Rome. In 2008 he is called by Alvar Aalto Academy in Finland as an expert consultant architect for a forum on urban issues in the city of Jyväskylä and Saynatsalo in Finland. In 2009 in the 12th World Triennial of Architecture in Sofia – Interarch ’09 he received the Special Prize from the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria. Also in 2009, he won ‘27/37 Young Roman and Italian architects’ and then exhibited at the Shanghai Expo 2010 Pavilion. In 2011 he was among the winners of the Europe 40 under 40, Europe’s emerging young architects and designers. At the same time he carries out project consultancy and research activities publishing thematic articles on architecture.
From 2017 he collaborates with Stramigioli Associati Srl.
